Ancient Thai Foot Massage (Reflexology)
Thai foot massage is the application of pressure onto particular areas of the soles of the feet. A reflex action in another part of the body is stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area. Foot reflexology massage uses hands, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, and a rounded wooden stick with lotion or oil. Reflexology foot massage as practiced in Thailand is an ancient therapeutic procedure that has become popular today.  Originally the knowledge and techniques were closely held secrets kept alive and passed down through generations by the Buddhist monks of the Thai Royal Palace.  Thai foot reflexology is a marriage between the ancient healing arts of Reflexology, Chinese Tuina, Japanese Shiatsu and Indian Ayurvedi yoga. Working with the feet, lower leg and knees, this 2000 year old, highly reputed session frees up blocked energy within the body's many sens lines (Thai-based meridians) to produce a deep and unique feeling of balance, relaxation and well-being.

Thai yoga massage

The masseur uses his or her feet, heels, knees and elbows, as well as hands, to exert pressure on these channels, supplementing this acupressure-style technique by pulling and pushing the limbs into yogic stretches. This distinguishes Thai massage from most other massage styles, which are more concerned with tissue manipulation. One is supposed to emerge from a Thai massage feeling both relaxed and energized, and it is said that regular massages produce long-term benefits in muscles as well as stimulating the circulation and aiding natural detoxification.

Reflexology is NOT RECOMMENDED if the following exist: severe heart or  serious health problems, pregnancy, menstruation, high fever, contagious disease or sores, broken foot or leg bones, or with a full stomach.

$75 SPECAIL PROMOTION MAY1-May 9!! For one hour reiki  massage therapy/ Chakra balancing  Massage (Regular $120)

If you’ve ever had a great massage, you understand how you can feel both relaxed and invigorated at the same time. This seeming dichotomy of emotions allows you this feeling of well being because a massage loosens muscles, increases oxygen and blood flow throughout the body, and encourages the free flow of the body’s own energies, or “Chi.”

The Japanese healing art of Reiki has similar practical purposes—to increase and free the unbalanced energy flow in the body. But while massage is more vigorous and manipulates the muscles, Reiki uses only touch and sometimes merely the proximity of the healer’s hands to particular parts of the body, using 12 to 20 prescribed hand positions, depending on the training tradition. Today there is a hybrid treatment, known as Reiki massage.

While massage is one of the oldest forms of medical treatment, first recorded in China more than 2,000 years ago, Reiki is a recently developed practice, invented in 1922 by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist. He gave treatments and passed his training on to a generation of about 16 Reiki Masters, who continued to practice and teach it to others as Usui Reiki.
